Advice to ManagementAdvice

be more involved in the whole process. Not just staffing the hours and looking at the money spent. Take the team out more after landmark deadlines.

I have been working at Gensler full-time

    Pros

laidback; great flexibilty for working parents; the project range is amazing and opportunities to grow in the firm are unlimited.

    Cons

while easy to grow within the firm, harder to grow within the office, though this seems to be changing; too structured within the office space (it needs to be more casual and messy)

I worked at Gensler full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Nice Office,Some Very Talented Colleagues

    Cons

Scared (& ultimately soul-less) Managers dominate & micro-manage so much that one learns to keep one's head DOWN. Conflicted messages and the inability to be truthful make up the communication strategy. For a while, it may seem like a great place to work, but the facade doesn't hide the paranoid & (many say) quasi-psychopathic character of this company's leadership.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop sucking up & do some work. Also, the Scientology library in the Atlanta office is kinda creepy.
