Pros

Got to do research for a high profile professor and be involved in an interesting project; the pay was pretty good.

Cons

The bureaucracy of such a large organization can be hard to deal with - filing paperwork, setting up direct deposits, getting tax information, etc.

    Pros

Very flexible with schedules. Generous pay for part-time student work. Management was very nice and understanding.

    Cons

Sometimes had to work as early as 5:00 am. Not a job with career advancement opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Be a little clearer in giving instructions and in giving procedures.

    Pros

Fantastic benefits - full tuition coverage, retirement contributions Quiet summers and lots of holidays Nice people

    Cons

Repetitive schedule - same tasks are completed on the same cycle throughout the year Minimal promotion potential - no where to advance to without switching departments Low pay - minimal merit increases annually as well Outdated administration procedures Inefficient resolution of problems (large and small)
