I worked at Gilead Sciences as a contractor

    Pros

Gilead is an intelligent company, that will continue to grow. Their products are great and they are saving many lives. Their stocks have been performing well, and it is a well known pharma.

    Cons

Management lacks complete transparency. If you're a contractor--consider the chance of becoming full time a political one. Management is based on old culture, and the company really doesn't have many perks for it being so successful. Work from home is not supported, and the burn out rate is high. Gilead should really consider their 2.9 rating.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Trust your employees and evaluate them on work performance, rather than political reasons. Some people will do anything to step over others and this is very obvious.
