I have been working at Global Edge Software full-time (more than a year)

Pros

1) 6 Months Best Training on System Level Programming
2) The Training Knowledge given here will not be given anywhere else hell lot of learning
3) after the training you will feel that at any project you can work at any schedule
4) Clients Include Fortune 100 Companies ...
5) after 6 months as an employee i have an H1B sponsored from Global Edge to fly US ..

    I have been working at Global Edge Software full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    Joined as a trainee , underwent 5 months of training . Below are the pros and cons of training :
    Pros in training :
    1. You will be used to work on saturday and sunday which may be useful after some time
    2. Respecting the seniors like managers and mentors by calling them Sir .....
    3. After training , we can go to office slowly i.e at 10.30

    Cons

    Cons in training :
    1. Meagre salary of 5K per month is given in training for 5 months , after training 13K.
    2 Too hectic , we have to mug up the things .
    3 .No quality in the training modules .
    4. No knowledge sharing
    5. If you have a very good luck , you may be placed in the project . If not we have sit in bench ... But suddenly they may tell us to quit after 6 months .......One or two out of all the trainees ( 40-50) may get in to a project ( Depends if you are close to manager or any recommendation )
    6. HR's are rude .

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Simply don't hire freshers ( As you have to pay very less to them ) even though no requirement is there . Why are you hiring freshers in batches even though no requirement .

    I have been working at Global Edge Software full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    1. Well it is a Consultancy like company .
    2. Salaries are credited on 31 th of the month . If it is a holiday the next working day it will be credited

    Cons

    Many Cons are there , but below are a few
    1. They started telling the employees to leave the company suddenly as they were not able to find the clients
    2. Exploiting the freshers by making them sign 2 Lakh bond for 3 years and pay 4000 as stipend for 6 months.Freshers plsdont prefer this one . Its waste of your 3 years of career .
    3. HR's (Rude behaviour) behave as if they are the owners of the company , wont give minimum respect for the employees who worked hard for more than 5 years in the company .
    4. Forget about the hikes in time ,it is delayed for 3-4 months depending upon which project you are in .
    5. Don't have the professional behaviour in any department ( HR , Finance , Admin , Managers ) . Sys admin group is ok .
    6. Most of the employees are been sent back to the company from the client place .
    7. Even though all are in house capability projects - only junior , mid level employees should come before 10.30 am., Managers can come at any time and go at any time .

    Its time to change the policies of the make it a truly professional company .
