Great working atmosphere and great working experience. Upgrading of employees, great experience, flexibility, international projects. Company owned by employees.

Salaries are ok but can be better

    I have been working at Golder Associates full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Excellent Health and Safety culture - first and foremost..
    Upper management that helps staff -not micro manage.
    Project opportunities- received requests to work in the states as well as over seas with no pressure to travel.
    Management and HR frequently sent out survey request to engage employee's mood and opinions.
    Employee ownership- great program which also prevents one person or group of people from owning too much stock and controlling the company-
    "The newest guy gets the most up-to-date computer- helps reduce turnover

    Cons

    Company owned equipment needs upgrading
    Salary for non-professional (non-degree staff) could be better
