I worked at Goldman Sachs as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

The company is highly invested in providing the interns with hands-on experience.
The initial week is filled with training and adjusting the interns to company culture and the necessary skills they will need for success in this internship.
    HR team is very hands-on.

    Cons

Hours differ based on team and division.

I have been working at Goldman Sachs full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Overall, GS is filled with honest, super-smart people who care about each other and do great work. The environment is challenging, but supportive, and you will definitely be pushed to do your best.

    Cons

There are some politics at the senior level, but no more than what you'd expect from any large company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give a bit more structure to career development. Past the Associate level, people seem to be expected to carve their own paths. That's fine, but sometimes they don't know what opportunities are out there.
