I worked at Goldman Sachs full-time (more than a year)

Pros

Fast paced work and a culture that demands excellence, regardless of how menial the assignment is

Cons

Work / life balance balance leaves a lot to be desired. The culture is much more professional that it is collegial. Underlying tension of competition between analysts.

I worked at Goldman Sachs full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Great experience, exposure to very high level people for an entry-level job, good place for developing financial skills, great credential

    Cons

Work hours are crazy and it will be the hardest you have ever worked. Tough to have an active personal life outside of work and spouses/partners may not be understanding

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Some of the hard work seems unnecessary and could have been avoided with better planning. Communicating deadlines in advance instead of last minute could save a lot of difficulty without compromising the work product.
