Pros – Incredible talent and senior management staff. High visibility and exposure to senior management including daily involvement on high-risk issues and both tactical and strategic initiatives. Communication, escalation of risks and issues, and follow-up/turnaround time are themes that are practiced and executed on a daily and consistent basis.

Cons – Requires more work and effort to standout out amongst peers and provide a better business case for raises and promotions; perhaps due to team-based collaboration and credit given on a group level rather than an individual level.

Advice to Senior Management – Include team in more initiatives and thoughts/ideas outside of the immediate group with the possibility of collaborating and engaging other teams in an Operations-wide communciation or initiative of some sort.
