I have been working at Goldman Sachs full-time for more than a year

Pros

Challenging opportunities, great benefits, great starting salary, great resume kick

Cons

Lots of cost cutting, people constantly being let go, people can be unrealistic in their demands to get things done, your future depends on your manager only

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Great employees can get overlooked by bad managers who prevent growth and learning. Many managers treat the structure as a hierarchy even though it's advertised otherwise.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Not every organizational change should be kept a BIG secret for too long before announcement. The secrecy only escalates anxiety amongst employees and creates unnecessary paranoia.
