    Pros

    Offered ok starting wage $56k
    Health Plan
Lots of free giveaways, clubs, drivers, bags, free repairs and come and go as I please.
Never get corporate visits and very few regional visits.
Being able to sell and sign items for what we like.

    Cons

48-60 hour work weeks, yes can come and go as you please but present for opening closing a must.
    Constant disappointed customers, always complaining.
    No Bonus.
    No real thank you's.
    No corporate direction.
    No training programs
Constant recounts of inventory and its never right.

    Advice to Management

Golf people sell golf equipment. When you get good staff do everything possible to keep them. Commissions paid by golfmart, dicks and sports authority are way better than ours.
    Don't bring tennis back!
Better audits of shipments to stores.
Not every store is the same size, hello.

    Pros

Great golf perks. If you like to play, hit a bucket of balls at lunch and have access to try equipment then you'll appreciate working at corporate. As long as you make sure, and the time, to take advantage.

    Cons

Results continue to be disappointing and as long as the stock stays low don't expect things to change. Ridiculously high senior management salaries mean everyone else does twice the work without support. Top 2 execs make more than all others combined.

    Advice to Management

If things are so bad then take a pay cut. Stop laying off people and spread the work load around. We are a struggling specialty retailer not Microsoft. Prove you care about the employees and not your own pocketbook.
