Current Employee – been working at Good Technology
Pros – The people are nice and look like they actually want to be at work. It's a fast growing company piggybacking on the explosion of the mobile device space (iPhones, iPad, Android cell phones and tablets). The culture is a collaborative environment. You will have a chance to make a difference everyday.
Cons – Since Good is a "startup" it does have some growing pains. Processes are still being set up in order to scale up appropriately. There are lots of new people being hired, so there's a lot of learning on the job. But the people hired are generally very experienced in their particular field, so they are expected to ramp up quickly. Since it is growing so fast, people wear several different hats and there often aren't others to delegate work to.
Advice to Senior Management – King is doing a great job turning around the company and hiring capable people to carry out the mission and company goals. Keep the vision and transparency going. Watch out that there aren't too many managers compared to worker bees. Strategy still needs to be implemented, so tacticians need to be hired as well. Balance will be key in this growing and evolving market.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
