Strong tech, good people, arcane business processes and too many managers.

I have been working at Good Technology

Pros

Great engineering organization.
Opportunity to be the leader in secure enterprise mobility platforms.
Pre-IPO, lots of potential upside.

Cons

Too many managers and convoluted business processes.

Advice to Management

Achieve alignment among yourselves. Your lack of alignment spills out into the company which leads to confusion amongst the rank and file and a lack of clear direction. Less talk and more action.

    Pros

Nice cushy job. Close to home. Employees are smart and great to work with.

    Cons

Not many challenges or growth opportunities. Company was in disarray, acquired by Motorola, then spun off to Visto. Visto CEO, Brian Bogosian, was a joke. Only he was allowed to bring his dog to work. But he's gone now. The company seemed very interested in deriving revenue from IP litigation.

    Advice to Management

    Figure out a clear roadmap.
