I have been working at GoodLife Fitness

    Pros

    -Free Membership
    - Unlimited Tanning (for those who need it)
    - You Make your own hours
    - Minimum supervision during the shifts

    Cons

    - Micromanagement, meetings every week two or three times a week
    - Excessive and unrealistic goals
    - Not client based
    - Prices of personal training is $8000+ for a year at three times a week. They try and teach you to convince people that their health is worth more then paying your rent, if you disagree, you will be reprimanded.
    - Anyone/ ANYONE can be a trainer at the gym, which is why there is such a large turnover. Seems like everything they do is a cash grab as they charge you to work there (GLPTI course) which is mandatory if you would like to continue (500$)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

New business model and be more concerned about clients rather then making money.
    - Hire quality trainers rather then any joe blow with a gym pass.
