Goodwill – “Good Mission, Good Work”

Pros

Great mission (finding vocational opportunities for people with barriers to employment) and they actively work towards this goal in house and in the community.

Cons

Benefits package is just ok. Insurance plan is pricey for employees and paid sick and vacation is scant. Pay rate is not competitive.

Advice to Senior Management

The move to not pay for the first sick day is punitive. If you offer 40 hours of sick time, let your employees use it.
