Former IT Employee (Former Employee)

ProsGood talented, caring people on the administrative side

ConsEvery individual is disposable. No regard for longetivity. Easy to pass the buck mentality. No communication and no direction.

Advice to Senior ManagementIneffective and basically bad management within several areas led to "reduction" in jobs for many productve, caring individuals. It is difficult to ascertain how a firm of this standing allows inexperienced, low producing managers to dismiss others but they are still gainfully employed.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Too many insular, underexposed senior administrators from Boston

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

I worked at Goodwin Procter full-time for more than 3 years

Pros: Great brand, great marketing organization, really really down-to-earth lawyers with common sense and commercial sense, very open-minded, technical… Cons: Functional heads of HR, Recruitment, IT, Payroll, Services, Training, etc are suspicious, narrow 'old guard' Bostonians who lack basic people skills, know nothing about operating… Advice to Senior Management: Think globally and demand that your functional administrators do -… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend More

    I worked at Goodwin Procter

Pros: The people and work are fantastic Cons: Standard law firm hours, but not as dismal as most. More
