Goodyear – “Great Place to Work, but Poor Work/Life Balance. Work, Work, Work!”

Pros

A Global Firm offers many opportunities within any industry and Goodyear is very well known and well received in the Global Market. Plus it has a Blimp.

Cons

There is limited work/life balance. It has been my experience that normal hours of operation are not well-defined and a twelve hour work day seems to be expected. The Financial benefits are good on an annual basis. However, when divided by hours worked, the actual rate per hour becomes very diluted.

Advice to Senior Management

Consult all levels of the organization when making decisions that affect more than just Senior Management.
