Management does not discriminate in giving promotions. Many educated professionals, role models. Easy to transfer to different depts.

    Be ready to work hard and as a team .You will feel good when you get home knowing you have done something for someone who really appreciates it.

    Cons

    poor nursing management play favorites and" reverse descrimination "Unfortunantely the Peter Principal is sometimes used and it makes it even harder for the great managers.

    upper management needs to talk to your ground roots staff,not go by what middle management says
