Pros

Great coworkers. 3 day work week. Very supportive manager.

Cons

Governor Deal not extending Medicaid has already started to effect the quality of care we can give.

An individual can learn of lot of information from this place. Good training ground. You learn to deal with all types of personalities and backgrounds, help to make a more well rounded person.

    Cons

    Can be disorganized at times.

    Advice to Management

Learn to listen to your employees. Sometimes you can learn something for them.

    Pros

Wonderful patient care professionals. The downtown Atlanta location was fairly convenient. Also, the corporate foundation has done a great job keeping this organization afloat.

    Cons

Disorganization to the point of dysfunction in a key department; uninvolved management. I worked with some great people who will likely feel more and more discouraged because they're frequently berated for minor mistakes instead of praised for the many things they do well.

    Advice to Management

Take time to communicate face-to-face with your direct reports, rather than simply send vague requests in email. Don't ask for ideas and input one day, only to trash them in the next meeting. If management actually decides to engage employees and share their expectations in advance of projects, the work to done to save Grady will not be in vain.
