Great Place to Work

Enrollment Counselor (Former Employee) Phoenix, AZ

ProsFree school, benefits, cool campus, etc. It is a job.

ConsImmature senior management (some at the VP level, however immediate supervision is awesome... would not work for anyone else in the company), poor (confusing) communication, and really no room for advancement. NONE.

Advice to Senior ManagementListen to those who are "under" you. Maybe there is some good advice out there from really talented people that you ignore or take credit for yourself.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Difficult management and business metrics to meet

    OUTSIDE SALES (Current Employee)

I have been working at Grand Canyon University full-time for more than a year

Pros: Great opportunity to continue education at no cost. Working… Cons: Micromanagement. Numbers, numbers, numbers, regardless of territory, economy, or geography. Advice to Senior Management: Listen to your feet on the street. Not all territories are created the same. Please don't assume your employees… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company… More

    One of the worse experiences

Finance Counselor (Former Employee) Tempe, AZ

I worked at Grand Canyon University full-time for more than a year

Pros: Free education (dependent on program of study) Cons: Pessimistic. Everything is focused on what was not accomplished instead… Advice to Senior Management: Yelling and threatening is not a proper way to motivate… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
