Advice to ManagementAdvice

It appears that people are not happy with their compensation (even though the make significantly more than people in other industries), perhaps you should improve that.

I have been working at Grant Thornton full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Flexible work schedule and not a lot of overtime

    Cons

Very strict with PTO requests and dumb policy during fiscal year end - not allowed to take off days from middle of July - middle of September, even though work doesn't start until the last day of july.

I worked at Grant Thornton full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Great place to launch a new career if you are a recent graduate, and also a great place to develop a career if you are already an experienced professional. People are generally very respectful (this is rare in the accounting/professional services industry) and great to work with, very collaborative. Competitive salary & clear promotion path can be found here as well.

    Cons

Could be a lot of work at times (but such is life in public accounting, right?) and changes could be slow to be implemented.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Lots of great ideas, a speedier execution of those ideas and a more results-oriented management style of new intiatives could really grow GT's business.
