Current Employee - Audit Senior Associate in Cleveland, OH

I have been working at Grant Thornton full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Good client base. Happy medium between large and small firms. Great place to work in the short term.

    Cons

Does not present the strongest career building foundation. Hired a bunch of rejects when the market was tanking because no one wanted to work at the low ball salaries. The fruits of their labor are truly starting to show when incompetent people move up the ranks and keep brushing off what they cannot do to others just to get by.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't present flawed pictures of where the company is at or where it will be. Work on employee contentment before and retaining good workers. LISTEN to what employees give you as feedback instead of just asking for it as a formality and not actually doing anything about it.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
