    Pros

Free snacks, water, coffee, tea and bagels on Friday. Some nice people below partner level. Air conditioning in the summer.

    Cons

Poorly run firm. Laid off a bunch of people recently. Definitely No Instinct for Growth at this place. Look elsewhere to advance your career.

    Advice to Management

Quit telling us that the firm is doing great when you're cutting employees left and right. We can see right through the lies!

    Pros

Management is understanding when it comes to work life balance. Although a large company, the Public Sector group has a small or mid-size company feel which enables you network and get to know colleagues quickly. Good place for CPA's. Management encourages everyone to pursue certifications and provides opportunities to attain it.

    Cons

Performance Review criteria and process makes little sense. Not a good place to be if one wants to grow quickly professionally. Although leadership will not admit, there is very little mobility in choosing your career track, as number of engagements and opportunities are very limited for people within the Public Sector group and of course...the usual politics. The company caters more to folks with CPA backgrounds.

    Advice to Management

Be more honest to employees, everyone knows GT is having a down year hence the lack of raises or bonuses or the lack of projects available. The performance review process is a bit of a sham and most employees are aware of this.
