I worked at Grant and Weber full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

You will learn a lot, because you are forced to take on many roles and many hats. Many middle management employees are promoted, demoted or fired when the company needs a scapegoat for many things that upper management was informed was not the best route.

Cons

Titles thrown around as "promotions" with more responsibilities, but no increase in pay. HR in owners pockets. Morale low and workers are over stressed. Work to life balance does not exist.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Recognize employees doing good work, answer emails and phone calls. Listen to your supervisors and employees on the floor recommendations.

Unfortunately, an ultimately dissatisfied former employee.

    Pros

Standard 8-5. So work/Life Balance was good.
People in the office are nice.
    Easy tasks nothing too difficult.
Possible to make good money as a collector.

    Cons

    Compensation is pretty bad.
Benefits are slightly sub par, they are a little pricey.
Very little upward mobility unless you wanted to be a collector.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Office environment is pretty stale, they should think of a way to spruce things up.

I have been working at Grant and Weber

    Pros

    Some nice people work here.

    Cons

The management here is the same that was at ACS PASC. Not much room for career growth, my supervisor most likely was promoted because her mother was the office manager. They are often running low or out of office, kitchen supplies, coffee, cups. One month they were unable to pay their part of our insurance premiums and employees got notice from the insurance company to arrange other payment. I was very recently laid off from there, doubt theyre doing any hiring, be cautious of this company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop doing things the same way if it doesn't work. The same methods used at ACS are having the same effect at Grant and Weber, ending in missed contracts and mass layoffs with no notice.
