Green Street Advisors – “Great place to learn from the best”

Pros

Great knowledge sharing and access to senior management. Interesting work and you can be honest with your views. Public company management teams and investors respect that I work at Green Street. There is no competition between groups - collaberation is high. I get to learn from really smart people. Great office and I like living in the Newport Beach area.

Cons

Comp is low compared to other opportunities, particularly in good times. Once management decides you are either good or bad, they dont change their minds. They determine my review and annual raise before I have a chance to talk to my boss, so the feedback loop doesn't work well. I don't trust the COO. He always has an agenda and unfortunately he decides my pay and promotion.
