    Pros

    Not a lot of structure so whatever you need to get the job done is the way to go.

    Cons

    Everyone is off doing who kows what. not a lot of coordination or direction from management other than get these 20 things done.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    To many people have been doing what they're doing for a long time. It's time to move them off to something else and let the people with more varied xperience lead the charge.

    Pros

    good pay/bonus/benefits/ the company is growing rapidly

    Cons

    You can never be late, sick or have any family emergencies for if you do they will write you up and hang it over your head forever.

     They expect you to give your all 100% of the time and they never appreciate your efforts. Once you show them you are good they will overload you with even more work, burn you out and keep you from moving up in the company. That is unless you are a favorite, then you get away with what ever you want and promoted weather you are qualified for the position or not. What happened to working hard to achieve goals and being rewarded for it? When did this become a popularity contest?

    They do not train anyone! Its a "sink or swim" kinda deal. They encourage you to break laws and to cross the line but when you get caught doing it they will immediately turn their backs on you as if they didn't approve of your actions and possibly write you up for that too. When weaker collectors are not hitting the numbers management will FORCE YOU to pick up their slack and do the work for them..... sometimes you will not make your bonus but will be forced to make them get theirs. It is very UNFAIR and never reciprocated!

    They are more concerned with the # of accounts you work than the quality and then they score you on minor things like updating phone #s and mailing addresses that take money out of your bonus!

    Supervisors are just puppets carrying out the ops managers dirty work, they are not allowed to express their own ideas or try something new on their own. They curse and demean you on the floor and bully you into thinking you can not go to HR as they will deny all accusations even if they saw it with their own eyes.

     This place is a revolving door and with that the rest of us have to pick up the slack when people leave. My hopes are that HR will start to catch on to this and remove the poison from our company so that the good employees stop dreading coming to work every morning.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    you need to see what is really going on.... check on your ops managers when they don't know you are watching. They put on a real good show when you come to visit. Believe your employees when they speak out. We wouldn't be complaining about things if everything was hunky dory. Most of us are scared to say anything at all as it is known that there will be retaliation.
