Pros

Great young associates. Good managers. The Board of Directors seem to have this moving in the right direction. Technology team was fun to work with.

Cons

Not much to complain about. Salary was on the low side, but they try to keep you happy. It is a non profit place so you can't expect too much.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the good work and keep listening to assistant managers and low level people for ideas.

I have been working at Greenpath full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Coworkers are great.
    Benefits are good.

    Cons

Pay is terrible. There is extremely few opportunities for advancement. Management is poor starting with the very top. Big brother is always watching-they can monitor every second of your day with their computer software. They try to squeeze every ounce of productivity they can out of employees. They offer a lot of PTO, but in order to get PTO approved, you must submit a request about WAY in advance. Promotions are based on manager favorites instead of most qualified and best worker. Management makes poor long-term decisions and employees are punished as a result. Benefits are being scaled back. The company is a scam when it comes to bankruptcy services offered. They provided the necessary certificate in order to file and complete a bankruptcy, but they do not provide appropriate counseling and cost way too much. They do not appropriately talk about bankruptcy alternatives or provide adequate counseling.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fire senior management and start fresh. Managers are out of touch.and unaware of the environment they are creating for employees. The call center manager is unstable and supervisors are afraid to stand up to her.

    I worked at Greenpath

    Pros

Flexible hours in some job categories to allow for life/work balance for people going to school or who have young children.
    Good benefits
Training Dept really tries to educate, but front line supervision is useless.

    Cons

Management only cares about themselves "looking good" (this was actually SAID in a meeting to new employees).
    Incompetent managers and supervisors.
    Kiss ass environment
It's all about the sales of products and profit for the owner
Many managers only in their positions becuase they've been there a long time, but have no people skills.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Promote people who have actually "managed" people.
Stop with the selling mentality and get back to helping customers through good counseling and programs.
    Have career paths
Communicate to employees on a regular basis. (I could go a week or 2 without my direct supervisor saying or emailing me anything!)
