Pros

Great area of New York city, lots of restaurant choices, close to subway lines at Union Square. Building is good to work in, close to lots of interesting things and transportation choices.

Cons

Lots of creative people, like all places, some really, really good. My team had the problem where important information was held back until the last minute so that a certain person could look really important by swooping in and "saving the day" at the very last second, but on a regular basis! But saw that person's job posted recently on a career board, so they are clearly no longer there, and that is a tremendously good thing for everyone.

Advice to Management

Don't let anyone leave the building on their last day without somebody neutral talking to that person, you really need to know why every person leaving is really leaving.

    Pros

Everyone at GHG is really friendly and quick to pull you into into their groups, invite you out for lunch and drinks or whatever. Really welcoming.

    Cons

Big lack of management. The PM team is completely incompetent, and they hire more incompetent people to replace the previous ones. The new CCO doesn't give the best guidance, and we haven't gotten much new business since he started.

    Advice to Management

Hire PMs who actually know what they're doing. Make sure teams are getting constructive criticism on projects and not just criticism.
