I worked at Grey Healthcare Group

Pros

Great area of New York city, lots of restaurant choices, close to subway lines at Union Square. Building is good to work in, close to lots of interesting things and transportation choices.

Cons

Lots of creative people, like all places, some really, really good. My team had the problem where important information was held back until the last minute so that a certain person could look really important by swooping in and "saving the day" at the very last second, but on a regular basis! But saw that person's job posted recently on a career board, so they are clearly no longer there, and that is a tremendously good thing for everyone.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't let anyone leave the building on their last day without somebody neutral talking to that person, you really need to know why every person leaving is really leaving.

Former Employee - Business Manager in New York, NY

I worked at Grey Healthcare Group full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Location
    Salary is slightly above average
Benefits and vacation are standard for Advertising

    Cons

    MANAGEMENT
Company is way too Account centric
Overall lack of respect for employees.
Heard throughout the company there is little work life balance.
Work is constantly just piled on and on without consulting the teams, or taking into consideration current work load.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take a deeper look at the reason why you promote the people you do, and if they really are the best qualified.
If the company is run with Account always being treated as #1, soon you won't have any long-term employees left in any other departments.
Finance department is run terribly, and G/L team needs serious replacements accross the board! Replace your CFOs.
