Pros

Many opportunities to transfer or advance. Ok starting salary compared to similar positions in other companies. Great locations. Good training program.

Cons

No creative energy. Every day you do the same thing. No vacation time until after a year of empoyement then only 5 days if you request a long time in advance.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay attention to the moral of your team. Area directors should get feedback from hourly employees regarding managers and issues.

    Pros

    Many opportunities to transfer or advance. Decent starting salary compared to similar positions in other companies. Great locations. Good training program.

    No creative energy at upper management to help drive sales when begin to decline.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Management does not care as much as it could about it's employees. Culture has diminished throughout the years, really making work more of a scare factor than an enjoyable environment.

    I worked at Grill Concepts part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    It was flexible. Easy to switch shifts with other staff if necessary.

    Cons

    There seemed to have been a disconnect between staff and higher management. The desire for higher sales quotas increasingly was a problem for such a customer oriented business. There was less and less regard and care for staff.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Relax. Working at Daily Grill could be enjoyable. It once was. Desperation adds pressure to everyone on staff.
