    Pros

Strong Mission and Vision. Feels like you are working for one of the 'good guys'. Company really cares about patients and their health outcomes. Decent pay and great benefits.

    Cons

Weak executive leadership team. Appears to be rudderless. Only now working on financial controls and consequently 4 years of negative financial performance. Consensus environment promotes passive aggressive behavior.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Rather than playing catch-up, you need a strategy that puts you in the lead.

I have been working at Group Health full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Health benefits and paid time off are fantastic. Some very smart and interesting people. Salaries are getting better and an improved effort on training managers.

    Cons

It goes through cycles of spending and drastic reductions. Some people go there to retire and only do the minimum required. People who work hard only get a pat on the back and a smile.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Find ways to motivate and reward staff, the mission itself is not enough.
