    Pros

    Benefits are something to hold on to! I've really enjoyed working in the clinic I'm at for the past few years and enjoy seeing people on a daily basis. It was sad to see many people let go or quit this year. An organization taking a downward spiral. They say the right things to save face but internally the problems are very evident. It's a house of cards. It looks great on the outside by fabricated perception but they don't follow through with what they talk about. It's hard not to consider other jobs even though benefits might not be as good but the security is far more enticing.

    Cons

    When GHC has through one of their spells it's up to everyone else to pick up the pieces after them. This year's layoffs were traumatic and lowered morale of employees as they now impact our efficiency, quality, patient safety, and productivity. Laying off people is a choice and NOT would lead to loyalty and performance would be higher as a result. The hiring cost for re-hiring, training, and everything for a new employee costs more. LEAN is not implemented fully in this organization. There is a lot of talk from the CEO but he doesn't make the cut. A lot of smooth talking...

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Adopt all LEAN principles, especially the ones that benefit employees not just the ones that the organization profits from. LEARN from LEAN and don't cherrypick only to say you truly follow these prinicples because you don't.
