Current Employee – been working at Guardian Life full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – The company is always looking for new ideas and new ways to reinvent themselves for the customer and the employee. They want to make things easier so you have more time to focus on the customer.
Cons – Working for people who are so uptight is a downer. I know its all corporate, but it really does make you feel tense to show up to your job and know that you will not get credit for your work through bonuses or at least verbal communication. They take your ideas and make it their own.
Advice to Senior Management – Should try communicating with the employees more and care about his or her being or state of mind. Management shouldn't ask from their employees to carry the weight of the world without being mindful of the work they are already doing.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
