    I worked at Guess?

    Pros

big company, publically traded, nice people, good benefits

    Cons

treated like a child, management too involved in the small details like when people come and go and where they eat for lunch. senior management frightened to delegate responsibility or promote employees fearing they will be less relevant themselves.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

trust your employees and judge people by the quality of their work.

    I worked at Guess?

    Pros

Great employee discount (if you like their clothes), a lot of availably hours to work, they are flexible with schedules, and it was an overall fun environment to work in.

    Cons

Very low pay, incompetent management, and A LOT of tedious work even for retail (and it is a small store)

Management is very nit picky and lazy at the same time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Feedback from employees could be very helpful in all areas of store management. Intimidation is not an effective means of managing a retail store.
