very creative questions and questions straight forward

    I worked at Guest Services full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Friendly atmosphere at the lower levels; there are some very nice and knowledgeable people working there.
    Lots of opportunity to interact with customers and coworkers get to know people.
    There's a decent amount of flexibility in working hours.

    Cons

    There's a lack of training provided.
    A caustic attitude from the higher ups makes things less pleasant.
    Pay is not at a competitive level with their major competitors.
    Very limited opportunities for promotion and development.

    Pros

    There are no "best reasons" to work at Guest services.
    There is health insurance, but only if your job pays enough for you to afford it.
    Otherwise, if mediocrity is your goal, welcome aboard.

    Cons

    Lying is mandated. Creativity is dissuaded. Training is not provided.
    Opportunities for advancement are not available. Management refuses to put drections in writing.
    Mediodrity is rewarded.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Guest Services, Inc. attempts to function as a product of another time. Nepotism, favoritism, incompetence, and off the books "understandings" portend ill for the future of the company. The idea that profitability can be ensured on the backs of the lowest paid of employees seems to drive the train.
