“A great place to work with strategic consistency that believes in building software the right way”
Current Employee – been working at Guidewire
Pros – Great collaborative work environment.
Work with lots of really smart people who care about what they build.
Recent hires have helped improve the team.
Cons – Need to do more to develop our own people.
Development needs to build things faster.
It would be good to have more cross-team mobility.
Be willing to fire people that don't perform well.
Advice to Senior Management – Recent changes to hiring have really improved the morale of the development team, we need to continue the momentum, and don't take our eye off the ball with making our tools and processes better too.
