I worked at Gulf Interstate Engineering as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Interns have a good balance of independence and accessibility to mentor/supervisor. Saw several unique projects in different disciplines.

    Cons

Company has a history of not delegating very well to junior staff & interns, which makes it difficult to gain experience quickly.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider providing a more involved internship where projects are lined up prior to intern appointment and graduate the intern's responsibility in the project over time.

    No opinion of CEO
