Pros

Benefits are completely paid for in Canada Organization loves promoting within and promotes by a persons abilities in performace rather than some companies that promote people who kiss butt. Which makes it a great place to work and you can respect the management members. The customers are amazing The company really supports when it comes to personal emergencies or issues

Cons

Hard to find a work and family balance Your expected to be available as a manager all the time and if anything happens you need to be the one to come in because its your store. You can not take more than 10 days consecutively off - it's retail. There is always an event, so you spend a lot of times planning then taking down the event only to have to prepare for the next the very same day.

    Pros

You get a 40% discount on the new lines. The customers are nicer than in other retail jobs. The schedule is flexible for part-time.

    Cons

They want a lot of availability blocked out even though as a part-time employee they may only give you 5 hours a week. No one mentioned the hours per week when interviewing. I assumed that had to be 15-20 hours a week or at least 10. It looks typical that they have people working limited hours per week and sometimes in 2 to 3 hours shifts. That makes it hardly worth your gas.

    Advice to Management

You should always allow the employees to get just as good discounts as the customers. Many people find it unfair that coupons are not allowed even on items you cannot use your employee discount on. It doesn't make sense to hire 5-6 people that you may only work 5 hours a week. I would assume that leads to part-time turn over.

    Advice to Management

Be more understanding. It's frustrating when everyone has kids and there isnt enough help to help out
