I have been working at Gymboree part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I love how simple this job is, I am a sales associate and this is definitely a great job to gain retail and customer service experience. I think managers can make or break an experience and I luckily have a great manager.

    Cons

Lack of payroll hours sometimes when things need to get done i.e. having hours allocated to prepare for a new line, low pay

I worked at Gymboree full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

They are sales driven for the customer promoting lower class clients. Cute clothes but the quality has taken a downturn in the last 3 years.

    Cons

Long hours, unrealistic work schedule, does not believe in Children s Charity, hires all employees in underpaid and offers no more then 3% Raise for the best workers

    Advice to Management

Run... This company does not practice what they preach. They overwork their managers giving you 119 hours to run a multi million dollar store leaving the store manager working 50-60+ hours every week in order to run efficiently.
