    Pros

HEB is a fantastic, service oriented company. HEB will treat you with respect, care and will take a genuine interest in making you better, not only as a partner, but as a person. The pay and benefits are good and the company culture is very laid back and casual. HEB can be everything you want it to be and more. They have a tendency of building leaders, rather than shopping around for them. So work hard and HEB will train you to become whatever you want to be in the company!

    Cons

Because of the very nature of the business, working hours can be a bit awkward.

    Advice to Management

Continue to always push your younger partners to stay in school. Realize that they are there to work for you oftentimes as a temporary job until they graduate from college. Encourage them to utilize their acquired knowledge and skills from school to improve the company. Ensure that they are in the know about new job opportunities with the company. Realize and congratulate those who go well beyond what is expected of them.

    Pros

Ethical company, still private. Treated Partners very well. Marketed and merchandised to specific neighborhoods instead of cookie cutter stores.

    Cons

Its retail - and retail is retail. Long hours. Sometimes too nice to Partners

    Advice to Management

    Directors are Partners too.
