Pros

Easy to pick up shifts, you will work with a lot of cool people and make a lot of friends, 10 percent discount on any heb brands, easy to transfer stores and different jobs within the stores

Cons

It's hard to move up unless you kiss ass and do everything they tell you to (even if it's the stupidest thing ever, like bringing the supervisor a donut), customers can be very rude and all you can do is smile and be nice

Advice to Senior Management

Promote people who can actually do their job. It is very common for a normal cashier to pick up the duties of the supervisors while they go eat free samples and chat with the other supervisors.
