I have been working at H&R Block full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

It is a definite job every year from August to April. Opportunity for overtime during peak season. Starting place for entry level IT jobs which would allow you to move into other companies in a regular full time position.

    Cons

Lack of communication from the management. Very small opportunity for advancement or a career. Pay has been increased in the past two years, but is still below average for the industry and area. Management does not appear to respect or notice hard working employees. Poor benefits.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Improve the grading/evaluation standard for the call center employees. Better raises for returning associates. Better benefits programs.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
