I worked at H&R Block full-time for less than a year

Pros – Cafe in Building. Good Benefits.

Cons – Never sure about job security or performance. Be prepared every spring for layoffs, and those remaining pick up the extra work from the layoffs. Be prepared for your job title not to match your duties and those do not match your pay. If you want to move departments, they will stop you. Be prepared for sketch software or application launches. They rush to get systems launched even if they are terrible.

Advice to Senior Management – Get rid of the power hungry managers.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
