H&R Block Office Manager in Odenton, MD:   (Past Employee - 2006)

Pros

If you are looking for an opportunity to earn supplimental income, whether at a second job for already emplyed professionals or just for a season, H&R Block is a great place to work. It can be pretty intense during the tax season (Jan 2 through April 17), but the income possibilities, especially for returning associates, can't be beat. YOu can work full-time hours, or part-time, evenings, days or weekends and they can vary from week to week, which makes this a great place for full-time homemakers to earn that extra income for a family vacation or just to help make ends meet.

Cons

seasonal - very little full time opportunities, income stream is not steady even during tax season. Can be tough to earn a good income if saddled in a slow office

Advice to Senior Management

ongoing communication could be better. need to evaluate office locations and staffing levels

Could you please contact me? Believe it or not, I will be moving to Odenton in two weeks and I have applied to that particular branch. My email is ahagerman@windstream.net. I have a master's degree in financial planning.
