    Pros

You often get a lot of freedom to manage your work because they are starving for employees. There are a lot of good employees that are fairly intelligent and usually helpful. The health benefits are pretty good considering it is relatively small company. New CEO as of Q4 2014 seems to have the right mindset. He jettisoned several managers and employees that needed to go.

    Cons

The biggest issue is that the venture capitalists that own part of the company have and will likely continue to suck the revenue from the company. The unusual arrangement of venture capitalists and VPs that partially own the company is toxic and explains why the company has done little of value for its customers since it started, allowing the VPs to coast along.

    Advice to Management

Continue to fire VPs. They've been there long enough proven they have nothing to contribute. There is management under them that would better serve the company. Reinvest in the company and the employees. They don't expect an amazing salary, but it's almost embarrassingly low.
