A company that calls itself 'a transformer' while actually being just a body shopper

Pros

stable employment even in crisis situation visionary CEO and some good top executives

Cons

A body shop that has zero interest in the employee and employees well being CEO talks about "employee first" "disruptive" "transformer" but no one at the ground level implements it...all are just interested in billing..forget value creation HR and Admin behave like they are doing a favor by letting the employee work in USA Worst compensation in USA Benefits are bare minimum (as req by law) and lowest possible Works like Indian government, a lot of red tape for everything Kingdoms run by "General" Managers who do not add any value, they just walk around showing their influence and power

Advice to Management

Don't just listen to what Vineet (CEO) says and clap. Implement it! "Invest" in value creation, forget 100% billing. Pay decent salaries and benefits that match the industry "in USA". Revamp on-site HR and Admin groups .. they don't care for the employees needs.

    Pros

They have a great Fresher program, which takes very recent graduates and provides them with a job to get started in their careers. Health benefits are fantastic for my family. There are many ways to learn through their e-learning site and help from others. I'm on a team that does work for Microsoft, so their are some perks with that, as well. There are opportunities within the company to work hundreds of places around the world.

    Cons

Pay is not competitive at all. Growth in the company seems difficult to do, and very few last more than five years, if that, before moving on to another company, but that's kind of typical in a software career for a lot of people anyway. Reviews take 4-5 months to be completed.

    Advice to Management

Stop trying to grow the number of employees so rapidly without making sure that the infrastructure of the company can sustain it. There are so many hoops to jump through to get things done, and often something is marked as closed when it isn't yet resolved. One of the biggest issues is the length of time to get a yearly review complete; 4-5 months is way too long, and the reviewer has never even met the employee being reviewed, in most cases.
