No work life balance. No defined career path for most employees.

    Pros

    Job Security is one of the major reasons to stick with HCLA. You have the freedom to make decisions within your area of work as long as the Client is kept happy and no escalations are reported back to HCL Senior Management.

    Cons

    Heartless employer when it comes to compensation. The compensation will be 20%-30% less than the average market rates prevailing in the area. They bring in most of their staff on L1 Visa with very less salaries which would tie them up with the organization preventing them from shifting companies. Most of the resources work atleast 12 hours a day without any overtime benefits and they cannot do much about it as they live in the US on a L1 visa.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    The HCL Leadership just claims and publishes in the media saying "Employee First" but this is just a media stunt and is not being practiced in reality. They have to first treat their employees as human beings with proper compensation and right pay for the extra mile that each person goes to please the customers which in turn lets the company grow its revenues.
