I have been working at HCT full-time for more than 7 years

Pros – Excellent remuneration and benefits; One can enjoy the best of work-life balance. Work culture is multi-national and diverse. Opportunity to work and explore latest in technology and all campuses are excellently networked. Access to latest publications and text books.

Cons – Lack of academic quality and organized mis-management. Poorly managed programs, courses and learning outcomes. Changes occur very frequently and most often what happens in the name of reforms are disastrous. Lack of empathy towards students is evident among administrators. Very rigid hierarchical organizational structure.

Advice to Senior Management – Leave academic management to "real" academicians. Those who administer are clueless about local student life and requirements specific to the country. They are adamant enough to keep their jobs.
