I have been working at HD Supply

    Pros

Branch level associates are great people that are fun to work with.

    Cons

These are my opinions based on my experience in Colorado, Arizona, Texas and, Southern California.
There is way too much big brother, watching, and dictating, the smallest detail of daily customer interaction.
There are way too many directives, usually to cut expenses or head count, at the expense of salaried workers family time.
The best performers are overloaded and burning out.
Inventory control form corporate is not realistic.
They need to give middle management enough rope the pull the wagon.
Upper management needs to trust the middle managers to do their job. (If they are managers, let them manage.)
Upper management makes way too many people placement and termination decisions based on emotion and friendships.
    (Upper Management = Regional Management)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Fix the Cons above.
