    Pros

Big global bank with international reach. Well respected in the industry, with a great research team. Reasonable payers, and good work life balance

    Cons

Poorly managed at times with an investment banking culture but not really the pay structure to match. Banking in general is going through a rough time so it perhaps isnt just HSBC, but I thought people are losing their jobs for no reason, other than forced cost cuts to businesses that are very profitable and successful

    Advice to Management

    Manage people better

  2. Overall, it is a good company to work for.

    Pros

The benefits offered by the company are the best based on my personal experience. It offers employees with very flexible working schedule, which helps employees to have better work life balance.

    Cons

Work hours are crazy in some departments. Hard workers are not properly rewarded and recognized.

    Advice to Management

Senior management should care more about their employees' development than just the bottom line.
