I have been working at HSBC Holdings full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

good friendly atmosphere, hierarchy doesn't come in way of putting your idea in front of others.

    Cons

career path is like a dead end (specifically talking about HSBC GLT), they look at years and an internal exam to judge candidates for promotion.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

be consistent. Mr X leaves and so does his grand plan of things with him. Mr Y comes in and the focus is shifted to an altogether different direction.

If top management can't be consistent, the company is surely going on the wrong path.

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
