    Pros

Some really smart, talented people that you can learn a LOT from. Lots of opportunities if you are flexible and have many talents. TV aspect keeps it interesting in some respects, depending on your position you can meet and work with some celebs.

    Cons

Impossible to pursue new, out-of-the-box ideas in branding and marketing. People in power have no interest in allowing others access to big strategies, but expect us to achieve huge unattainable goals (at least in Marketing) on no budget. The annual "employee satisfaction survey" is a joke.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Allow yourself to make some changes based on the truly knowledgeable talent there before it's too late, and you are left in the dust

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    Approves of CEO

    Matrix system is a b**ch!

    I worked at HSN part-time

    Pros

Work from home. Benifits for part time employees. 40% discount. Some good people.

    Cons

Low incentives. Constant coaching on sales numbers. New matrix system makes it impossible to stay out of coaching. All they care about is numbers. Rude old ladies who are addicted to HSN call with a chip on their shoulders. Sitting for long hours can screw up your back.
