Prossome very talented people working in creative and content department

Consunless you are gay do not expect to move up in this company. management has no idea how to treat people and love listening to their own voices. ridiculous "goals" and other corporate micro-managing nonsense take up way too much time. they actually have windows to watch you on some of the doors.no communication between different teams. they spend money on external building improvements but fire people due to weak sales for the quarter. business model is dying as is their audience. if you think the cliques in high school were bad they are nothing compared to the cliques at HSN. no long term future for this company or with this company

Advice to Senior Managementlet people do their jobs without watching their every move. communicate, communicate communicate! provide a creative environment that fosters creative work. look at companies like Google and Pixar and see why they have such a loyal staff. too many cooks in the kitchen makes for needless, endless revisions from people who have no idea what they are looking at.
loose all the corporate bull like having to write "goals" and other nonsense. treat people with respect and let them do the job your hired them to do without second guessing their every move or creative decision

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
